Mark is currently presenting the popular ITV1 series "I Want That House", about buying property abroad (Mark has a background in estate agency). He moved on from presenting GMTV's "Fashion Police" and "LK Today" to ITV’s "This Morning", where he presented a property strand called "Property Police", hijacking homes with bad taste. He also presents the popular show's travel strands - last year clocking up more than 250,000 miles. This has led to more travel, this time on BBC1’s "Holiday" – so far this year, he has been to Portugal, Languedoc & Croatia.

Having narrowly missed a place in the superstar pop band “Take That” Mark briefly toyed with acting – a talent he rekindled two years ago, joining the cast of Coronation Street as “Craig Brennan” – Mark Baldwin’s best friend.

Mark’s previous experience in television includes "Zig Zag", a long running educational children’s series on BBC1, working as a live reporter on the youth show "The Totally Friday Show", The Travel Channel, Carlton Food Network, Manchester United TV and the Granada Regional Newsroom - where he trained.

His combined knowledge of business (he ran his own successful multi-million pound company after leaving school which he sold and is in the process of launching another!) and presenting make him a popular corporate choice. Clients include: Barclays Bank, British Airways, Bank of Scotland, Compaq Computers, Halifax Building Society, Merseyside Police, Norwich Union, Stage Systems. Throughout 1999 Mark hosted a nationwide series of youth conferences with Alan Sugar for Lloyds TSB. The road show promoted entrepreneurialism in Great Britain. He still works closely with local schools advising students interested in starting their own business

Mark has also had the pleasure of many celebrity Interviews for This Morning including Samuel L Jackson, Will Smith and his favourite interviewee Heartbeat’s Tricia Penrose. Three years ago he interviewed the bubbly scouse barmaid at the National Television awards...

... They now live together in a 350 year-old converted gamekeeper’s cottage in Cheshire – which he has designed and finished. They tied the last knot year and now have a baby son named Jake.

Mark has a passion for football and fast cars and shares the family home with four horses, five ducks and a Great Dane called Bert.

Mark’s experience in property, business, travel and showbiz give him a wide range of programming opportunities.
